Opuntia microdasys is a very common cactus in collections.

Specimen 1
Obtained from a friend as a cutting. Rooted very fast within 1 week of planting, placed under a humidity dome during the rooting process, and 18 hours of 6500K light. Blue light is known to promote strong compact vegetative growth.
Prior to planting, the cuttings was allowed to heal for 2-3 weeks.
